Lazaro Cardenas is the West Coast Ocean Port of Entry with the greatest short and long term potential for growth. Some of the main competitive advantages available to the port are the new state of the art highways, as well as the nationwide intermodal and rail connection, linking major cities through Mexico and north into the United States. Fast and efficient procedures for cargo unloading are established and implemented in this port, translating into efficient solutions for customs clearance transactions, minimizing time and cost to importers.
